Superba Krill or Antarctic Krill (Euphausia Superba)

Krill are small crustaceans and are found in all the world’s oceans.  They live in vast colonies numbering in the millions and are a staple part of the diet for many marine and aquarium animals.  The name “krill” comes from the Norwegian word meaning “small fry of fish.”
